We are excited to support Margaret's, in partnership with Elena's Club, to provide reusable masks for their drop-in center. These women are some of the most vulnerable in society. Your in-kind donation of masks will go directly to a woman in need at Margaret's.
Margaret's clients experiencing homelessness, who often have pre-existing health conditions and are nutritionally vulnerable, are at a higher risk during the COVID-19 outbreak. These individuals don’t have the option “to stay at home” and the increasing number of individuals residing in shelters or congregate housing situations makes social distancing a challenge. For many of these individuals, Margaret’s drop-in and respite is their home. Their drop-ins provide stability, a sense of community and daily access to essentials like nutritious meals, shelter, and health care.
Masks generously purchased by you to donate to Margaret's will be delivered directly from Threads to the center.
Note: We are unable to issue tax receipts for in-kind mask donations at this time.
